Well that time is here, Vista release day is here! What are you going to do stand in line to get it? (Okay it isn’t on a par with Lord of the Rings but it sounded good.) Or are you one of the many that is is going to sit back and watch and see what happens? I have heard from many that they plan to keep running their old XP and let the rest of the world work out the bugs that are sure to be introduced today.

Myself I have tried the beta’s and see nothing that will get me running to the local software provider to get a full copy. Why spend a lot of money for a OS that will require me to update my hardware as well as the software just to run it at it’s full potential? Why go ape over features that Linux and Mac has had for years? And in true Microsoft tradition they have added these features with more more bloat that could have ever been dreamed of by the everyday user.

And yes I watched Bill on the Daily Show last night and it was a good laugh watching John attempt to social engineer Billy’s password out of him but I will bet that is the last laugh a lot of folks will have once they install Vista on their computers. So the bottom line is I will sit back and run my systems with Linux and my one Game/Test Box with XP and leave my world in a little less chaos and see what it is like in another 6 months or a year and then if I have to maybe I will switch then, maybe.
