Well I know I said that Security was next in line but I got a few emails that wanted to know things like what else can I use and where do I find if this works or not so I thought I would post a couple of the more useful links that may answer some of the questions that you folks are asking. But don’t fret, the security is up and coming.

Okay for the first of a handful of helpful links that the new linux user ,or the about to be user, I suggest this site for a great comparison of Windows programs and the many Linux options that are available to the user. This comes in handy when you say to yourself I used IE what is in linux that is the same or close to the same program.

The third and last for the day is Linux Hardware Compatibility Lists & Linux Drivers, the idea here is so that you can check and see if your computer is on the list or not, so you can foresee any problems that may arise with your new Linux install. And it is also a great source for linux drivers as well.
