The holidays are coming, and there’s no better time of year to consider buying a computer for yourself or as a gift. It is also a good time to consider a PC loaded with Linux.

What’s that you say? Run Linux instead of Microsoft’s Windows Vista? Does anybody really do that?

So you won’t hear a hard-luck bar band trying to impersonate Axl Rose’s squeal or Sonic Youth’s squall; “Guitar Hero 3″ mostly gives you the real thing and is all the better for it.

Not having seen any other Guitar Hero releases, I can’t compare them, but I will say this version ROCKS! Really great music and way too much fun. I couldn’t be considered a “Gamer” in any sense, but I’ve quickly become addicted to Guitar Hero 3! Rocks the 80′s, is on the list for Christmas, for sure.
