Okay as of late there have been a lot of folks that have been starting to learn Linux,what with the $200 Walmart boxes and GoS and the OLPC plan of buy one get one. And that boils down to be getting a lot of Questions of how can I do this or that. And while it is simple to answer the questions I thought that I would suggest a place for folks that want to read and learn Linux from the inside out. Linux is a powerful operating system, but chances are it’s a very different operating system than any you’ve used before. The dizzying number of choices in distributions alone is enough to make your head spin, but it also means there’s something out there that really suits your computing style. There are some things in Linux you just have to work out for yourself — distributions, applications, neato screen savers (hey, we like distractions as much as the next guy).
