Okay this is far from techy but hey it is news. Today I have been a non-smoker for 5 months. For a guy that has smoked for over 40 years I am a happy rascal. Today I have to say that no matter what you hear or read quitting smoking is not a walk in the park. Everyone tells me boy it was easy for you to quit, the quiting I agree was easy it is the day to day not stating again that is difficult at times. I mentioned to a friend of mine that even now I still get the urge to have a smoke after dinner, or in my case watching folks smoke on TV make me think twice. DO I feel better? Heck at my age better is a relative statement. But yes I can walk farther without problems. Did I eat myself into a Jarrod lifestyle? No but I sure got to love hard candy a lot. The one thing that I can say is when people told me you should stop smoking I was not a happy camper, however when I decided it was time to quit things went really smoothly.
