TOLEDO, Iowa (AP) _ Authorities in Iowa say an Illinois man in a stolen delivery van loaded with doughnuts led police in a chase across two Iowa counties at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.
The van owned by Donut Delite of Moline was stolen early Thursday while the driver was making deliveries at a hospital in Rock Island. More than 100 miles later in Iowa, a Benton County sheriff’s deputy spotted the van — and the chase was on. Other officers joined in, and the chase stretched into Tama County.
Authorities finally cornered the van in Toledo and arrested the driver, Frank Alvarado of Moline. Authorities say he was a patient at the Rock Island hospital. Alvarado is charged with first-degree theft, eluding and traffic violations.
First this is a good example of why you never steal donuts Cops will follow the criminals forever. Chased for over 100 miles those Cops really wanted their donuts back, Baldy

And yes there are legal reasons to use P2P folks, Baldy

The Onion’s latest video segment — a newscast from a future where humans are subservient to robots — is not only uproariously funny, it’s also a damned fine, top-notch piece of science fiction. More like this, please. Link (via Danger Room)
Now this is some funny stuff, Baldy
