Canada’s largest wireless carrier, Rogers Communications, announced pricing plans, Friday, for Apple’s 3G iPhone.
Due to hit Canadian stores on July 11, many customers may not be rushing out to buy one. Although the actual cost of the phone itself is almost the same in Canada and the United States, the monthly costs are not.
Rogers said they were offering voice and data plans ranging from $60 to $115 per month. The high end plan will allow users to send 300 text messages and 800 weekday minutes plus 2 gigabytes of data usage.
Compare that to AT&T unlimted packages starting at $30 for data and $39.99 for voice.

As we bring another season of The PC Guy column to a close — I’ll be off for the summer — let’s take a quick look at 10 cool and free software programs. They include Paint.net, EssentialPIM, OpenOffice.org, PDFCreator, CDBurnerXP, 7-ZIP, Stickies, WordWeb and ooVoo. Coming out of left field in an already crowded category of Photoshop competitors, Paint.net 3.08 is a beauty of a program and simply amazing. This is one of the best graphics editors you’re likely to find.
See I do windows software too, it just has to be free is all, Baldy

I found this when cruising around today enjoy and it might just be still available if you want it. It is over on Craigslist if you are interested.
Ferocious attack kitten is available for adoption to any home willing to accept him.
This destructive kitty has been trained as a proud warrior and will fiercely defend your house, even against you. Well-trained since 10-weeks of age to attack anything in his presence, he will protect your family from evil things, including the following:
* insects
* other trained attack kittens
* babies
* toilet paper
* anything under a blanket
* unwanted house guests
* paper bags
* floor rugs
* Chuck Norris
* Feet.
Great with children (assuming you don’t like the children). Probably best used for professional catfighting. He is housebroken, but only because he wants to be. This attack cat has trained himself to seek out his food anywhere you hide it and rip the bag open to feed himself, great for those who travel extensively. Also trained to drink water out of toilet bowls and dishwater from items in the sink. Knows how to open some doors. He will find you wherever you hide.
Neutered (trust me, you wont want to him to procreate). Has not been declawed, but you’ll figure that out really fast.
Understands and responds to a variety of vulgar and profane verbal commands. Has a very soft and furry belly, like a teddy bear – however he will bite your face if you try to touch it.
Willing to accept trades. Potential adopters must have experience with trained attack-kittens… please be prepared to show scars.
For the love of God, someone please take this thing out of my house.

June 30 marks Gates’ last official day of work at Microsoft. While the software giant’s founder will continue on as chairman, he will no longer be a full-time employee. ZDNet’s editor in chief, Larry Dignan, rates Gates’ many conference keynotes and product launches, separating the successful from those that missed the mark.

This was sent to me and I thought that since I am in the middle of the this happy stuff I should post this and maybe get a few of folks out there thinking just a little bit.
Every tv station I know of has a phone in line or an email address for people to let them know how they feel about certain stories, we need to all take advantage of that and call/write in and ask why this is not being mentioned in the news stories about the floods in the midwest right now. And lets not forget it was not that many years ago many of those same areas were fighting flood waters as we watched them on tv all gathering together to fill sand bags to try to save and protect each others homes and businesses.
Is it just me?
As you watch the flooding in the Midwest, have
you noticed that there
are no farmers running around with stolen plasma
TVs or holding stolen liquor over their heads, pushing stolen grocery carts filled with stolen beer and tennis shoes. There’s no police officers in walmart stealing clothes off the shelves. There’s no looting
or yelling ‘Where’s Bush?’,
‘Where’s FEMA?, Where’ s my
check?’, or ‘Why isn’t the Gov’t out here
saving me and my farm?’
Likewise, I’ve also noticed there are no
reports of any other country coming to help or sending aid.
Shocking contrast isn’t it???!!!!
Have a nice day and please take the time to stop for a minute and think.

Acerbic standup comedian and satirist George Carlin, whose staunch defense of free speech in his most famous routine “Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television” led to a key Supreme Court ruling on obscenity, has died.
He will be missed for sure. A funny, funny guy…

You read correctly. Dell will start charging customers up to $50 for factory-installed Windows XP on some of their PCs, Computerworld reports today.
Consumers interested in the bargain-basement Vostro line of desktops and notebooks will pay $20 to $50 more for Windows XP Professional installed as a “downgrade” from Windows Vista Business or Vista Ultimate than they would for just Vista.
Now does this fit into the Windows Ripoff or the Dell Ripoff Group? Baldy
