Rock pioneer Bo Diddley dies at age 79

Bo Diddley, a founding father of rock ‘n’ roll whose distinctive “shave and a haircut, two bits” rhythm and innovative guitar effects inspired legions of other musicians, died Monday after months of ill health. He was 79.

The world has lost a true treasure of the music world, one that I grew up listening to and enjoying. Not to mention the many musicians that copied his style, even today. You will be missed.

Adobe’s Acrobat.com could be an Office killer; Will interface matter?

Adobe has tied together its online office suite wacrobat1.pngith the beta of Acrobat.com and the user interface is the big differentiator. What remains to be seen is whether online office users care about aesthetics.

On Monday, Adobe unveiled Acrobat.com, a suite that allows you to create word processing documents, share files, convert PDFs and hold Web conferences.

I tried it and guess what? Yes binky it locked up tighter than a tax collector at tax time. It says that windoze or mac is required for a online program??
