This was sent to me and I thought that since I am in the middle of the this happy stuff I should post this and maybe get a few of folks out there thinking just a little bit.
Every tv station I know of has a phone in line or an email address for people to let them know how they feel about certain stories, we need to all take advantage of that and call/write in and ask why this is not being mentioned in the news stories about the floods in the midwest right now. And lets not forget it was not that many years ago many of those same areas were fighting flood waters as we watched them on tv all gathering together to fill sand bags to try to save and protect each others homes and businesses.
Is it just me?
As you watch the flooding in the Midwest, have
you noticed that there
are no farmers running around with stolen plasma
TVs or holding stolen liquor over their heads, pushing stolen grocery carts filled with stolen beer and tennis shoes. There’s no police officers in walmart stealing clothes off the shelves. There’s no looting
or yelling ‘Where’s Bush?’,
‘Where’s FEMA?, Where’ s my
check?’, or ‘Why isn’t the Gov’t out here
saving me and my farm?’
Likewise, I’ve also noticed there are no
reports of any other country coming to help or sending aid.
Shocking contrast isn’t it???!!!!
Have a nice day and please take the time to stop for a minute and think.
