Darn I grew up watching him and his famous pie in the face and he had no fears of who got the pie, including himself a true pioneer in TV and comedy, Baldy

Nigerian "Scam Police" Shut Down 800 Web Sites

October 23rd, 2009 by Baldy

Sooner Boomer writes “Nigerian police in what is named Operation ‘Eagle Claw’ have shut down 800 scam web sites, and arrested members of 18 syndicates behind the fraudulent scam sites. Reports on Breitbart.com and Pointblank give details on the busts. The investigation was done in cooperation with Microsoft, to help develop smart technology software capable of detecting fraudulent emails. From Breitbart ‘When operating at full capacity, within the next six months, the scheme, dubbed “Eagle Claw,” should be able to forewarn around a quarter of million potential victims.’”

Darn does this mean that nice General really didn’t need my bank account after all LOL, Baldy

Notice how W7 is copying features of Linux/Mac. Also, the author states their is no real reason to switch to W7. Without saying it, he could be summarized as stating W7 is a polished Vista.

Darn it is cute they way they have “found” so many new features to add in now, humm Linux has had them for years, Baldy

Choosing a Desktop Linux Distro, Part 2: Installation and Support

October 23rd, 2009 by Baldy

With more than 200 Linux distributions currently listed at Linux Online, it’s perhaps an understatement to say that newcomers to the field face a broad array of choices. In addition to considering their own goals for Linux, however, potential users may also need to take other factors into account. Hardware considerations are often foremost among them. “If you plan to run Linux on the sparc64 architecture,” for instance, “I think there’s only a small handful of distros that even support it, so that narrows it from the beginning,” said Michael Stutz, author of the “Linux Cookbook.”

Here ya go folks part two of a really good article for you the new user of Linux, Baldy
